Business objectives
Our client, a leading U.S. retail company, faced the intricate challenge of transferring more than 200 workloads from their current on-premise infrastructure to the Cloud. The overarching objective was to retire a substantial portion of the on-premises infrastructure, preserving only the corporate infrastructure for office purposes.
- Reduce the cost of supporting their in-house hardware.
- Streamline business operations.
- Embrace cloud-native solutions for enhanced scalability and innovation.
Solution
To tackle the migration challenge, we proposed a robust solution anchored in the Google Cloud Platform. The approach involved a two-stage process. Lift and shift phase and Cloud re-architecture phase.

Outcome
The successful execution of the migration initiative resulted in Decommissioning of an in-house-managed data center and Seamlessly migrating 50% of the existing on-premise workloads to the Cloud.
These steps helped achieve the client's business objectives of streamlined business operations, cost efficiency, and cloud-native adoption.
Feedback from the client has been overwhelmingly positive, underscoring high levels of satisfaction with our team's expertise, meticulous work, and the successful outcomes achieved.
