DreamProIT is the name of our new software development team, inspired by the word ‘mriia’ in Ukrainian, which means ‘dream’. We were formed in the wake of the destructive Russian invasion of Ukraine, and our Ukrainian team members (everyone but me) all left their homes for safety further west – to their parents’ home, to a temporary rental in Ternopil, to an apartment in France that was meant to be a one-week vacation away from coding.
Oleksandr, our Director of Engineering, saw a post of mine and got in touch through LinkedIn. Little did he know that I have always enjoyed working with and looked for opportunities to work with Ukrainian developers. For a very long time, I had been trying to recruit my friend Uliana, a project manager with a great eye for customer experience. And after that first contact with Oleksandr, he started building a team.
Our first project, for Daniel Schuman at Demand Progress, takes on the challenge of finding similar bills among tens of thousands of candidates. Our team has come up with some truly innovative solutions, which we’ll present in the following posts.
For now, we introduce ourselves. Get in touch! If you have a project, no matter how big or small (actually, we’d prefer right-sized), we’ll help you make it a reality.
